About
Josef
Your
host and proprietor, Joseph Tanti, is an understanding hairstylist
and wigmaker with a positive, concerned attitude offering over 25
years of continuous education and experience in the field of
wigmaking.
Joseph has taught
wigmaking at educational seminars on cruise lines. He also has a
teaching background that includes video presentations and
volunteer work boasting empathetic and encouraging attitudes. His
expertise has expanded from Guelph to Kitchener, Waterloo,
Cambridge, Toronto, Hamilton, Orangeville and London, as well as
Northern Ontario.
Internationally,
Joseph has worked with cancer clinics in Puerto Rico, Chicago, New
York, and Minneapolis.

Although
the majority of our clients are from Toronto, Guelph, Kitchener,
Waterloo, London, Cambridge, we are well known in all of
Ontario, and even in the United States! We specialize in:

of our clientele are simply looking to give their appearance a

How
to get to the Salon
The
salon is located at 54 Yarmouth Street, Guelph, Ontario, N1H
4G3.
From
Toronto Area:
Take
the 401 West
Take exit 299 to head North towards Guelph (old Highway 6)
Continue north for approximately 20 minutes through
Aberfoyle until you get to Guelph. As you enter Guelph the
street name changes to Gordon.
Continue past the campus for the University of Guelph.
Continue heading North until you pass under a railroad bridge
and climb a steep hill, go straight at the light at the top of
the Hill (MacDonell Street). The road you are on becomes Norfolk
at this point.
At the next light, you will be bearing slightly right, onto
Yarmouth. The entrance to this one way street will be in front
of you and slightly to the right (not Quebec Street, which is a
hard right).
Josef's Hair Care and Hair Replacement Centre is about midway
down the street (#54) on your left, with some parking at the
rear, and metered parking directly in front of it.
From
Kitchener/Waterloo
Take Highway 7 towards Guelph.
At the intersection of Highway 7 and the Hanlon (Highway 6) go
straight. The road becomes Woodlawn.
Continue heading East until the intersection with Woolwich where
you will turn right (south) towards downtown Guelph.
Stay straight through several lights until the intersection with
Norwich, where you will bear left to stay on Woolwich (not hard
left onto Norwich).
Yarmouth street is on the right but is a one way street, so you
must continue to the next right (Baker Street). Go to the end of
Baker and turn right onto Quebec street. Then turn right
immediately into Yarmouth Street.

From
Cambridge
Take Highway 24
(King's Way) towards Guelph.
Hwy 24 becomes Wellington Rd. just before the Hanlon (Hwy 6).
Cross the Hanlon (Wellington becomes Waterloo Ave).
Stay straight on Waterloo Ave. until Gordon Street intersection.
Turn Left onto Gordon Street.
